Hanmer's Resort works very hard to make the retreats memorable for all Quilters. From the time you get to the resort, the fun starts and does not stop until you leave on Monday. Chalets have one or two bedrooms, living area, dining area and full kitchen. Some rooms are connected, you just open the middle door so you can come and go to sew or socialize.
At the retreat
We will have time for showing new items and visit each others cabin to see what you are working on, just a good time to meet new people. If you need to take a break from sewing you can go for a swim or sit in the spa at any time of the day or night.
On Sunday morning we all meet for show and tell. You will need a lot of film so you can get pictures of all your new Quilting friends.
If you have a group of Quilters that book the whole resort, each person will get a $10.00 discount on their room price. We are a small resort, so we can accommodate 26 to 28 Quilters.
We will book a different weekend if you have a guild that will book the whole resort. We will also let teacher from your area, come to teach a class. If you know of a guild that has all new Quilters in it and they would like a retreat for beginners we can set it up. We will make your retreat fit your group.
*All retreat discounts are based on cash payment.
*Resort is non/smoking (smokers can smoke on deck or covered porch).
*Credit cards are welcome (see rate page)
